Looking around ECF today I noticed a full recall on all EVOD / EGO style batteries from Kanger.  

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FOR KANGER MADE EGO BATTERIES. NO MENTION OF CLONES

According to our customers' feedbacks and factory's information, some EVOD batteries died after charge in a short time.  KangerTech figured out that there might be problem with 2 or 3 batches of battery cells they got from a battery factory. These
batteries are possible to EXPLODE during charge, although the possibility is very very small. KangerTech attached great importance to the problem and upgraded the protection of EVOD battery and have more strict quality control on the battery cells. The EVOD batteries we are supplying now are all improved ones, there is no such problem.
In order to avoid any serious accident, we and KangerTech decided to make the recall on old version of EVOD batteries, regardless of the high cost.

The potential faulty EVOD batteries are as below:

All EVOD 650mAh batteries in matte black, yellow, blue. Rest colors we sent before June 24.
ALL EVOD 1000mAh batteries in yellow, green. Rest colors we sent before June 24.
All EVOD starter kits in yellow. Rest colors we sent before June 24.

Here is our recall procedure:

1. Please stop selling all old version EVOD batteries, including those in the starter kits immediately.

2. Please inform all your end users to stop using old version EVOD batteries immediately.
 
3. We will replace all your old version EVOD batteries and send with your future order. Please email us the quantity and color.

A new dripper by Smoktech has just been released.   This dripper has 3 posts for easy single or dual coil set ups.  This isnt really a deal but something interesting for my RDA fans out there.  I have been getting a lot more requests for cheap dual coil drippers.

The Scar Dual Coil RDA

The Scar Dual Coil RDA is a rebuildable dripping atomizer.  It is 510 compatable and made from high quality stainless steel.  This device works amazingly well and gives a strong hit with plenty of flavor.  The Scar Dual Coil RDA has 2 - 3.0 Ohm coils installed that make a total resistance of 1.5 ohms.  The Scar allows you to have the vape that an atomizer delivers with the convenience of being able to add more e-liquid to the well so you don't have to refill it as often.  This is due to the 8 wicks per coil that soak up the e-liquid and feed it to the coil.  

The coils are replaceable.  They are attached to The Scar via 3 thumb screws for a quick and easy installation.  The thumb screws on the outside are for one wire of each individual coil and there is a shared thumb screw in the center to complete the circuit.  As some of the pictures show, there is a spare o-ring at the top of the device.  This is a replacement for the 2 installed should one become worn.

Here is a good deal on "The Gripper".  Its a small stealthy mod that uses a single 18350 battery.  The entire cartomizer is hidden from view.  If you wish to use an atomizer they do sell an extender.  Great for a 1st mod, a stealth portable, or a backup.  For the cost of a couple boxes of cartomizers you have yourself a PV.
