The gClapton Coil is what is considered a Organic Vertical Clapton (OVC) Coil. This means that Atom Vapes has adopted Kanger’s popular use of Japanese organic cotton, as well as their vertical coil structure, but they’ve used Clapton style wire for enhanced performance. Though there wasn’t anything wrong with Kanger’s famous OCC coils, there’s always a company out there within this industry willing to go bigger and better than what’s offered, and luckily for us, Atom Vapes took on the job. They continued using the Japanese organic cotton, merely because it can’t get any better than that, fast wicking and very consistent. The vertical coil structure was continued as well, as the market has grown a liking to this structure due to its immense vapor production and robust flavor… and, not to mention that this type of coil structure is designed for optimal airflow through the coil assembly.
