I filed for this in September of 2013.  Since then I have gotten a few other trademarks like Vaping Underground.  This one in particular was my crowning jewel and the most difficult to get.  It took about twice as long due to all the court proceedings.  At first the government told us  "JOES" was an obscure word for cigarettes in 19th century Louisiana - which made it invalid.  After that hurdle a few people tried to claim they had it first.

So.... after about 2 years, a small fortune, and a baseball bat - we got the mark :)
