I have been in the vaping game a long time. Many new vapers have absolutely no idea what it was like in the early years and how history is about to repeat itself.
I remember a day there weren't any brick and mortars.
I remember a day where the ONLY way you could get your vape gear was China.
I remember a LARGE COMMUNITY that taught the next generation of vapers.
I remember a LARGE COMMUNITY that actually cared for each other.
I remember a LARGE COMMUNITY fighting to get in to chat rooms to speak and be seen.
I remember Vape shows that had 2,000 live viewers at any given time.
I remember when any new mod was a BIG announcement.
I remember a day when 99% of my published deals came from China and were pre-orders.
People will not go back to smoking.
We are just going to change the venue. This is about peoples health and people will go to where it's available.
Unfortunately, this is absolutely devastating to our USA merchants. We need to help them as much as possible through these times. If product is available - always go through your USA vendor first.
Most of our merchant shipments will get seized at the border if they are big enough. This is the key. BIG ENOUGH. Vapers will just go back to the early 2k10's and order lots of small packages from overseas. They tried banning small packages in the past with something even more serious (exploding 18650s), and they couldn't stop them.
Co-Ops / Co-Buys (remember those?) will be back in fashion. Where there is money to be made, someone will fill the need.
As far as VaporJoes, Vaping Underground, VapeBan, and the entire Network -- we are going nowhere, we are just getting started. We are on the front lines of this new underground vaping community.
I have extensive archives here on VaporJoes; a complete history of vaping for the last decade. You will be amazed how many of my posts then, mean just as much now.
Vaping isn't going anywhere until all 9 million people unsubscribe to my mailing lists. End of Story.
