HAPPY FATHERS DAY FROM THE VAPORJOES NETWORK

There are two stories of when the first Father’s Day were celebrated. According to some accounts, the first Father’s Day was celebrated in Washington state in June of 1910. A woman by the name of Sonora Smart came up with the idea of honoring and celebrating her father while listening to a Mother’s Day sermon at church in 1909. She felt as though mothers were getting all the acclaim while fathers were equally deserving of a day of praise.

Sonora’s dad was quite a man. William Smart, a veteran of the Civil War, was left a widower when his wife died while giving birth to their sixth child. He went on to raise the six children by himself on their small farm in Washington. To show her appreciation for all the hard work and love William gave to her and her siblings, Sonora thought there should be a day to pay homage to him and other dads like him. She initially suggested June 5th, the anniversary of her father’s death to be the designated day to celebrate Father’s Day, but due to some bad planning, the celebration in Spokane, Washington was deferred to the third Sunday in June.

The other story of the first Father’s Day in America happened all the way on the other side of the country in Fairmont, West Virginia on July 5, 1908. Grace Golden Clayton suggested to the minister of the local Methodist church that they hold services to celebrate fathers after a deadly mine explosion killed 361 men.

While Father’s Day was celebrated locally in several communities across the country, unofficial support to make the celebration a national holiday began almost immediately. William Jennings Bryant was one of its staunchest proponents. In 1924, President Calvin “Silent Cal” Coolidge recommended that Father’s Day become a national holiday. But no official action was taken.

In 1966, Lyndon B. Johnson, through an executive order, designated the third Sunday in June as the official day to celebrate Father’s Day. However, it wasn’t until 1972, during the Nixon administration, that Father’s Day was officially recognized as a national holiday.

The Beast is a 200 watt badass box mod. It runs on two (2) 26650 batteries. The regulator is rated at 40 amps, so your safe build for full power is .125 ohms. There are options for the design, so please look over them at checkout. The connection is a 510 connection that uses a spacer that is built by us and is laser engraved. 

This mod is the first box I believe that is using this regulator with dual 26650, so this build is a first on the market. I will be changing a few things and adding a few things. Units shipped may vary slightly from that pictured (but only for the better). Thats right.  Kanger is now making sub-ohm replaceable heads for their new line of tanks.  This is a major upgrade for those vaping bottom coil's.   Now the average vaper can have the pleasure of vaping sub-ohm without rebuilding.

AN EGO ON STEROIDS: THE ARO 2000mAh VARIABLE VOLTAGE / WATTAGE

So what do we have here?    The Cadillac of ego batteries.  .

These feature a 2000 mAh battery (the biggest capacity to date), the ability to use variable voltage, and wattage!   This battery can serve many purposes.  For someone like me, its great as a portable set up - it has everything I need and a high capacity battery.  For a new vaper moving from a regular ego - this would be the next logical step.  Giving them a new style of vaping (wattage) in a form factor they are very comfortable with.  These are made by Smoktech - a company that has a solid track record on ego batteries.

The ARO VV/VW battery is the next step in the evolution of the eGo battery. Much like the Winder, you can adjust the intensity of your vape by turning the knob at the bottom of the battery. However, with this version, you are now able to switch between voltage and wattage! 5 clicks will turn the device on or off. Once on, 3 clicks will switch between voltage and wattage mode. The switch will light up white in variable voltage mode and blue in variable wattage mode. When the battery gets below 30%, a red light will warn you that the battery needs to be charged. This 2000mAh battery will last the average vaper about 20 hours of constant use, although this depends on your voltage/wattage setting and atomizer resistance.

Wattage mode can be thought of as "Automatic Mode." Once you set your wattage, you can use atomizers of any resistance and achieve the same vape intensity, but without having to change any settings. This battery has a voltage range from 3.2 to 4.8 volts and a power range from 4 to 12 watts. It's also compatible with all things eGo-related, including tanks, clearomizers, cartomizers, atomizers and chargers.
