Say hello to the Panasonic CGR26650A.  This is the first I'm hearing about these cells and they have been our since 2008.   I did some poking around and they seem to have the same exact specs as the SONY 50AMP batteries that have been discontinued.  These run at 2500mAh and have a 50AMP max amp limit.   These could be the new baby of the 26650 mod world - Panasonic has always made great cells.

LAWYERS GET RICH: HANA MODZ SUES LOCAL B&M'S







Seems the e-cig community is heating up.  Russ from Clickbang brought this to light on his show this evening.  Russ was scathing in his remarks about Hana Modz.

Hana Modz is now suing local brick and mortars over the "CHANA" mods that have become so popular.   What does this mean for the community and the HANA name? 

When we saw the first DNA30's come out we said NOT to use a logo version because of these legal problems.  Hana does have a registered trademark application in the USA.  This is what this law suit is about.  Its NOT about a cloned mod. You can't patent or trademark a color and a metal box.  Its the HANA name they are going to court over.

Are they going to attempt to sue all the China manufacturers actually making the clones - or just the poor mom and pop shops selling them?   Couldn't this have been settled with a simple phone call or a cease and desist? 

In the end I don't think this looks good for the community. We have enough bullshit going on with the FDA, State, and local governments.   

This does nothing to stop the box mods without their logo being sold and thats what the majority of vendors are selling.
